A record has been broken by the late Sidhu Moose Wala, the much-loved singer of the Punjabi music industry. Now, Sidhu Moosewala has reached 2 billion streams on Spotify.
With over 7,921,366 monthly listeners, Sidhu Moose Wala’s Spotify streams have crossed 2 billion. This is an impressive feat, but what makes it even more remarkable is Sidhu Moose Wala is the only Punjabi artist to hold such a record.

After surpassing over 10 million subscribers on Youtube, Sidhu Moose Wala received the “diamond play button” from Youtube for his track “So High.”.

To date, Moosewala’s YouTube channel has the most subscribers of any Punjabi artist.
His debut album PBX1 ranked 66th on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart and his hit single 47‘ was ranked on the UK singles chart. The track “Banbiha Bole” reached the top 5 list on YouTube. Fans and celebrities alike have expressed their grief on social media since his death.
His debut as a radio host, Table for One, featured Drake’s songs 295 and G-Shit as a tribute to him. During his Vancouver show, Diljit Dosanjh said – “It is impossible to erase the name Sidhu Moose Wala from my heart.” He paid an emotional tribute to the late singer.

A 28-year-old self-made legend, Sidhu Moose Wala was killed on May 29, 2022, while driving in a car with two associates near his native village of Moosa in India’s Punjab state.
