Salman Khan ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ Box Office Prediction: Expecting Rs 15 To Rs 20 Crore On Its Opening Day

Salman Khan 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' Box Office Prediction - Punjabi Adda Blog

According to reports, Salman Khan’s latest release “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” is expected to earn between Rs 15 crore and Rs 20 crore on its opening day, which is significantly lower than the numbers the star has previously achieved, especially with his Eid releases. However, the film industry has undergone significant changes in recent years, and if these forecasts are accurate, the movie’s initial box office figures will be on par with those of “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

As per a report from Bollywood Hungama, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has already sold approximately 14,000 advance tickets for its first day at three national multiplex chains. This is an encouraging number, especially since the film has been promoted as a mass entertainer aimed at attracting single-screen audiences in B-tier cities. In comparison, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was marketed as an urban film and earned Rs 15 crore on its opening day. While the romantic comedy has grossed Rs 145 crore nett since its release last month, its financial success has been overshadowed by rumors of a colossal budget.

In the current year, only a single Bollywood film has emerged as a clear box-office success. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan surpassed Rs 1000 crore in global earnings, ending a dry spell for the Hindi film industry. However, no other movie has achieved the same level of success since then. Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa managed to gross over Rs 100 crore in India, but it was not a low-budget production.

Salman Khan’s last major success was the 2017 film “Tiger Zinda Hai” Since then, his subsequent leading roles in movies such as “Race 3“, “Bharat”, “Dabangg 3” and “Antim: The Final Truth” were reportedly deemed as underperforming. However, “Bharat” did manage to secure Salman’s best opening of his career, earning Rs 42 crore, and ultimately grossing over Rs 300 crore worldwide. Following the release of “KKBKKJ,” Salman is set to reprise his role as the spy Tiger in the franchise’s third installment. He has also portrayed the character in the film “Pathaan.”
