Ajay Devgn’s latest action thriller Bholaa has been receiving positive reviews from both the audience and critics. Though it did not set any box office records, its collection stands near Rs 50 cr after a decent weekend. Bholaa is an official Hindi remake of Kaithi, a successful Telugu movie starring Karthi. It is helmed by Ajay himself and features Amala Paul, Deepak Dobriyal, and Tabu in key roles. The latter has put her hands on hard-core action for the very first time and performed her stunts herself.

In Box Office India, trade reports show that Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa saw a slight increase on Sunday. The film has collected Rs 40 cr net at the box office, and it managed to pull in Rs 13 cr net on its first Sunday. As a result of the holiday on Monday or Tuesday, the report claims that the film will be able to cross the Rs 50 crore mark.
#Bholaa puts up a healthy score in its *extended* 4-day weekend… The spike on Sat and Sun added strength to its overall total… Thu 11.20 cr, Fri 7.40 cr, Sat 12.20 cr, Sun 13.48 cr. Total: ₹ 44.28 cr. #India biz.#Bholaa needs to maintain the momentum over weekdays… In fact,… pic.twitter.com/RQKL7quyrq

With early trends, Bholaa stands at 44.60-45.10 crores in India. It’s a decent total, but it needs to show a steady hold over the next few weeks and earn at least 6 crores. Any drop more than that will be problematic.
Ajay Devgn plays a hero who shakes up the villains beyond their imaginations in the film. In this movie, an ex-convict tries to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught up in a face-off between police and the drug mafia as he fights a multitude of enemies in the form of human and otherwise. It has been described as “a story of a one-man army.”
After U, Me aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016, and Runway 34 in 2022, Bholaa is Ajay’s fourth directorial effort. Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar, and Gajraj Rao also star.
